Please excuse me Ms Land, I was reading the comments in the guest book and I saw the name Nina Henrickson. I wonder if this is the same nina that graduated from Punahou . I have not seen her in almost 3o years If it is and you have a way of contacting her please give her my e mail. I used to attend the Jazz concerts at the Shell, but it was so long ago, that I am sure it was before you were performing. However, I am looking(Hearing> forward to your cd am not sure if I can purchase it in Puerto Rico.

I briefly spoke to you on the phone today in the KCSM studio.I was probably a gibbering mess on the phone because you truly knocked me out with your rendition of Route 66 and If I Only Had a Brain. I've phoned some friends in the jazz world over here in Australia and told them to look out for a new, sensational voice on the jazz scene. You CD is on it's way to me from Amazon.com.

It's Kelsey, daughter of Linden Joesting and granddaughter of Sis Holt. It's too bad that I couldn't be at the party in June (I love how you put it in your events!!) but divorced Dads are very particular about every minute of time spent with their kids. I saw the pictures and heard the stories (and outrageous they certainly are) although I'm sure there's more outrageousness I wasn't informed of (!). I was reminded of you tonight because there is a Michael Buble performance on PBS tonight and I was lamenting to my father and step-mother about how I prefer Diana Krall's renditions of several songs he was singing. They were telling me I should learn to play the piano so I can be like Diana Krall and I was reminded of another talented jazz singer I know :). I pulled up your CD on the internet (I'm listening to it again now) and they both agreed it was excellent. Can't wait to hear more covers and original music coming from those chops!

Dana's personality really comes through in her music. That's rare. I love the song selection,arrangements and her beautiful voice. "Servin' it up" is a great album.
